luke (24th Jun 09 13:53:48) I was thinking about posting some comments about Monday’s training, it was a great session Senpia John with a bit of ever thing from kata, push ups & keages. My voice is now back to normal after all kiai's! But looking forward to more of the same! The beach training sounds interesting! Will we be punching the waves? Or standing on one leg practicing are Tobi nidan geris (or Crane kicks!) |

Those kata's are so confusing, I thought you were going to say, at one point, different stance AND strike/block on each turn . . . maybe I shouldn't have said that!!! Osu, a great session!!! |

That 'KKK' was unexpected, Komekami in Kiba . . . I was like, errrr, not done this before! Well done to all the juniors that graded, you all worked so hard! Well done Louis, I knew you'd do it. leeann (21th Jun 09 18:03:15) only so much we can teach to all grades down the club. but always practice all syllubus in all stances forwards, backwards and opposite arm to opp leg aswell. You have to explore all avenues when training at home. that goes with kata aswell. try first two katas in all stances never know when you might be asked to do it. It just tests you out mentally on the night especially if your fitness is hot. He will test your mental ability as well. You can only try your hardest at all gradings. WELL DONE TO ALL. |
